All confirmed buyers will receive an email update on Friday, August 8th, with details on the artifact scanning process, which kicks off the production phase. This is where the original kit will be digitized and refined for manufacturing—with modern touches like 316L stainless steel and updated threading at the spout.

  • When kits are ready to ship, I’ll contact you directly with a real-time shipping quote.
  • You’ll also receive a $15 credit toward your international shipping total.

Preston Mess Kit Update! You Can Still Sign Up To Get One!

My friends, we are off to the races! There are some problems people have shared with me that I want to help with en masse

  • “I signed up but never received an email”
    • The most likely cause is that your Spam folder took it OR completely rejected it. On a daily basis I have been getting Mailer Daemon returns. This is caused by patron’s email system rejecting it OR an incorrect email was put into the form (misspelling is often the case)
  • “I missed the Wednesday due date to sign up for one, can I still get on the list?”
    • First off, I am so happy you have the same passion for this project as me and 500 other people! There is a waitlist that you can sign up on. I need to order the kits in quantities of 500. If 1,000 or more people want in on the project then the more the merrier! That being said, the 500 people who signed up on the list must get first shot and they have until August 1st to pay for their kit(s). Once August 1st hits I will notify those on the waitlist and it will be “first come first served” to get one of the first 500 kits. If we get 500 other eager outdoor enthusiasts on the waitlist that commit to buying then I will gladly order 1,000 sets to meet the demand. But in order to do that YOU need to commit to buying one and getting on the list and SHARE with other like minded outdoor adventurers by clicking this link!
  • “Payment system is not accepting my Email”
    • This has been extremely rare but is easily corrected. Instead of signing into PayPal to pay for it just use the credit card button below the PayPal options
  • “Can I buy more than one?”
    • Sure! I put the limit at 2 because I don’t want someone to buy up tons of them for the purpose of reselling them. If you need more than 2 please send me an email at mrdyersmusings@honorableoutfitters.com and I will send you an invoice

We’ve reached a critical milestone—thanks to strong early interest, we’re moving into Phase Two: the engineering and drafting phase, where the original artifact will be precisely scanned and prepared for production.

November/December Newsletter!

Happy Holidays!!!! I am not entirely certain that I will be able to write a newsletter for December with all of the hustle and bustle of the season and I am already late sending the November one, sorry for that. This month highlights one of my favorite outdoor companies…. Marble’s! If you aren’t already keeping an eye on my YouTube channel, make sure to check it weekly this month for some very special episodes…one of which that will air on Sunday the 22nd is going to be my Bing Crosby Christmas Special!
