Preston Mess Kit Update! You Can Still Sign Up To Get One!

My friends, we are off to the races! There are some problems people have shared with me that I want to help with en masse

  • “I signed up but never received an email”
    • The most likely cause is that your Spam folder took it OR completely rejected it. On a daily basis I have been getting Mailer Daemon returns. This is caused by patron’s email system rejecting it OR an incorrect email was put into the form (misspelling is often the case)
  • “I missed the Wednesday due date to sign up for one, can I still get on the list?”
    • First off, I am so happy you have the same passion for this project as me and 500 other people! There is a waitlist that you can sign up on. I need to order the kits in quantities of 500. If 1,000 or more people want in on the project then the more the merrier! That being said, the 500 people who signed up on the list must get first shot and they have until August 1st to pay for their kit(s). Once August 1st hits I will notify those on the waitlist and it will be “first come first served” to get one of the first 500 kits. If we get 500 other eager outdoor enthusiasts on the waitlist that commit to buying then I will gladly order 1,000 sets to meet the demand. But in order to do that YOU need to commit to buying one and getting on the list and SHARE with other like minded outdoor adventurers by clicking this link!
  • “Payment system is not accepting my Email”
    • This has been extremely rare but is easily corrected. Instead of signing into PayPal to pay for it just use the credit card button below the PayPal options
  • “Can I buy more than one?”
    • Sure! I put the limit at 2 because I don’t want someone to buy up tons of them for the purpose of reselling them. If you need more than 2 please send me an email at mrdyersmusings@honorableoutfitters.com and I will send you an invoice

Camping clubs are a great way to build current friendships, make new ones, push yourself for adventure, and learn and develop tons of skills that can boost your day to day life!        -Engaging in outdoor activities through a camping club promotes physical health by encouraging members to engage in hiking, backpacking, and other forms of physical exercise, leading to improved cardiovascular health, endurance, and overall fitness.(Environmental Science & Technology, 2010).
  5. Stress Reduction and Mental Health Benefits:
       -Participating in camping trips and outdoor adventures with a club can help adults unwind, relax, and reduce stress by immersing themselves in nature, disconnecting from technology, and enjoying the therapeutic effects of the outdoors. (Environmental Research, 2021).
  6. Environmental Awareness and Conservation Advocacy:
       -Joining a camping club promotes environmental awareness and stewardship by fostering appreciation for nature, educating members about conservation issues, and encouraging sustainable outdoor practices, leading to greater environmental advocacy and protection efforts.  (National Park Service, Outdoor Industry Association).

Starting next Tuesday we will begin our six week course to provide you with the framework and resources to start a camping club, methods to order and maintain your club, interpersonal best practices, and you will leave with a solid plan to lead a successful and growing club. From the very beginning to an established club…if you follow the steps and use the tools provided you will have abundant successes and memories of shared adventures to last a lifetime.
